A real estate investor wanted to buy this small town.
To speed up the process, he handed out free candy to the entire population, hoping to make them sick and force them to leave.
However, the candy turned out to be far more toxic than expected, and everyone died, leaving the town abandoned.

CARNAGE COTTAGE

This place was the theater of a massive 1930s sanatorium.
After its abandonment, firefighters used it for training exercises.
Now, it serves as the Zen Devils' kick training area.

This may have been the last exploration of this location, as it was completely demolished just days after filming.

This place is located within a children's summer camp, and I was shocked to discover this particular building with its shutters closed.
It turned out to be an unusually bizarre strip club with voyeur rooms for swingers, right in the middle of the other dormitory buildings for children.
This might explain why the entire camp was shut down.

SURVIVING FRENCH BUREAUCRACY

This is an abandoned air traffic control station.
The building’s circular structure was designed for observing and communicating with planes.
Despite being deep in the forest, it was likely used by Air France at some point.
The control desk was still standing, with some buttons still intact.
Interestingly, we also found the remains of a wild hog beneath the desk.
