We set off some alarms as we entered this massive, abandoned hospital.
I decided we should head straight to the top floor to start shooting in case security showed up and asked us to leave. This way, we’d at least get some content.
Thankfully, no one came, and we spent the entire day shooting.

RECREATION CAMP

Being on the seventh floor of a massive abandoned hospital was far from silent.
A group of individuals was tearing down and breaking apart whatever remained, hoping to sell the scrap as raw materials.
With no laws to govern places like this, we all agreed to stay out of each other's way.
There were enough buildings and floors to go around, so no one needed to intrude on anyone else’s space.

The inside of this burned house still carried a strong smell of smoke.
I wonder when it all went up in flames.

BAD ENCOUNTER IN URBEX

October marks the beginning of the spooky season !
While Halloween isn't widely celebrated here in France, I still love getting into the spirit by hunting for creepy masks and exploring eerie spots, like the basement of this massive sanatorium where I took these photos.

A thunderstorm hit while we were shooting in this abandoned factory, bringing heavy rain.
The place got really dark with flashes of lightning, and rainwater started pouring through the collapsed floors.
It actually created a pretty cool atmosphere.
